We look forward to a very successful 2022 Cadet training class for NFHS Baseball umpires and NFHS Softball umpires learning the NFHS rules, mechanics and general UUASNJ information. 
The UUASNJ is proud to have these individuals learn how to become baseball and softball umpires in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).
A note from the instructors: I want to thank you for your interest in attending our school! The UUASNJ has a 40+ years history of training baseball and softball umpires to support the NJSIAA High Schools in Southern New Jersey.

The UUASNJ training program is designed for you. Our training methods are organized to instruct umpires on the NFHS and MLB baseball / softball rules while providing field mechanics and the necessary skills to become a better umpire, such as…
- Classroom Training: Class discussion will include the rules of Baseball or Softball, field mechanics/field responsibilities, plate mechanics/responsibilities and handling situations along with videos. All class materials are supplied with registration.
- On Field Training: This training will include on field base and plate mechanic/positioning drills. (This training will reinforce instruction learned in the classroom and is in addition to the classroom training)
- Plate Umpire Training: This training will include plate mechanics and positioning drills. (This training will reinforce instruction learned in the classroom and is in addition to the classroom training).
